Vista Transformation Pack atau Windows blind ??

Artikel ini merupakan sambungan dari artikel yang berjudul Dandani Window Xp mu

Aku pernah coba yang namanya Windows Vista yang memang untuk tampilan dan effek nya lebih bagus dibanding XP. Namun ternyata sangat berat untuk ukuran spec laptop ku (Centrino dua RAM 2GB). Akhirnya aku kembali ke Windows XP.



Karena sudah jatuh cinta dengan tampilan vista yang mempesona...

maka aku cari cara lain untuk mendapatkan tampilan keren windows vista. Dua cara yang aku coba adalah dengan menggunakan Vista trasformation pack dan windows blind.
Ada juga yang lain kalau ngga salah namanya vista inspirate tapi aku belum pernah coba.

Vista transformation pack memberikan keebihan-kelebihan diantara lain:

Sedangkan untuk windows blind, download disini. Note: jika suka, mendingan beli yang ori ya...!

Kalau untuk pribadi sini lebih suka dengan windows blind. Selain lebih ringan, juga skin macem-macem yang bisa didownload belakangan.

Cara Menginstall Windows Blinds 5.5 + Patch :
- Install program tersebut
- Tutup semua program yg aktif di windows
- tekan CTRL + ALT + DEL dan pilih “Process”, temukan dan klik WBINST~1.EXE kemudian klik “Finish process”
- Selanjutnya, copy, paste dan apply file “patch” di install directory ( i.e. C:\Program files\Stardock\Object sktop\WindowBlinds\)
- Reboot
- Selesai !

Masih ada tools lain yg bisa digunakan untuk mempercantik win xp mu seperti yang aku jelasin di Dandani Window Xp mu . Tapi untuk sementara ini saja dulu. Mau lahraga dulu ah naik sepeda keliling danau.

Dandani windows XP mu..

Bosan dengan tampilan XP yang itu-itu saja, tetapi belum mau (baca: ngga mau bayar) mengganti dengan vista? Tidak perlu ganti dengan windows vista jika ingin punya tampilan vista di Win XP mu. Malah akan lebih hebat dari window vista, Windows 3D, multiple desktop, task bar transparant, icon ala mac, gadget ala vista dan linux, daln lain-lain. Dan yang paling menyenangkan.. semua ini gratis...! Pake software gratisan.....


Coba perhatikan screenshot berikut ini yang aku ambil dari layar laptop ku.

Tampilan XP baru hasil rombakan

Dibawah ini screenshot untuk multiple desktop ala linux. Bedanya kalau di linux hanya menampilkan tombol-tombol saja, yang ini jadi 3D abis. Desktop mu seperti kubus yang bisa diputar-putar dimana di setiap sisinya kamu bisa bekerja dengan layar/tampilan yang berbeda.

Ada juga visual tooltips ala vista. Sehingga kamu bisa melihat preview windows kamu yang di minimize, tanpa harus me maximize terlebih dahulu.

Apalagi dengan efek transparant menjadikan desktopmu lebih keren.

Masih kurang juga...??? Ok tambahkan yang satu ini....! Mau lihat jam, putar lagu, gambar, note, batere, koneksi, google, dll ada disitu.


Sidebar ala linux dan vista di win XP

Bagi yang bosan dengan tampilan pindah window yang biasanya kita tekan ALT+TAB, pake yang ini saja. Tinggal tekan F9... ups langsung windowsmu yang terbuka berbaris ala 3D. Gunakan scroll pada mouse mu untuk memilih jendela mana yang kamu mau pake. kemudian klik.

Masih ada yang lain untuk memperkeren tampilan windows XP. Tidak perlu beli Vista yang memang akan bikin komputermu lambat. Cukup gunakan Win XP, dengan beberapa sentuhan akan tampil lebih keren dari Vista, Linux maupun MAC.
